The Auction
There were 72 dogs offered for sale at the auction 58 sold and 14 were passed in. A new record price was achieved at this years auction - $8,600 for Lot No. 35 – 'Sam', sold by Rick Jones, Jones' Silvercity Working Dogs in Broken Hill. Breeding Sire Broughtonvale Ned, Bitch Silvercity Bee (Jelly). Sam is a trained male Kelpie, black ad tan, 3 years and 6 months of age.
